You know Tim,
I knew immediately that there was a bias from your writings.......
But, the good news is that you have a healthy respect for science.
My introduction to the DOE was not a pleasant thing......
I worked for Bank of America 14 1/2 years........moved to Colorado, bought my first home
next to Rocky Flats.........Had a neighbor hand me the "Rocky Flats Advisory Notice:
It said, "Your ground is contaminated with plutonium, but it is within the radiological guidelines
of the USEPA..........."
The journey I have been on has been interesting..........discovering that Rocky Flats was
very contaminated............irresponsible management of waste......that was.in my air, water,
and soil. You ask many in the public to trust the agency perspective........right........
In fact, I'll never forget when I was learning about the word plutonium, and I ask the Colorado
State Health Department if it was toxic............and they said no.........I knew something was
wrong, because I had just been on the phone with the EPA who told me how very toxic it
was..........Later I questioned the credential's of the person who tried to convince me about
how safe plutonium was.........He was the head of the Colorado Radiation Control Division...
and his prior experience was a "Hot Dog Salesman"..........

You can trust me to evaluate and question anything the agency's promote.
We have a 15 foot monolith and as large as a football field of radioactive waste in the middle
of Denver...........The USEPA says that mixing 70% soil, 20% cement, and 10 flyash will make
this structure stable for over a l000 years. Do you believe this???

Radioactive Waste management is tragedy in this country.

I know you know that this is an experiment.
There is no Waste Site in this country that is protective............and not leaking.......
Please share with out readers............any site in the country that you can promote
as protective waste management by the DOE.......every site they have been
involved with is contaminated.........

I
